Context
Consumer Duty came into force on 31 July 2023 for new and existing products, and will apply to closed products and services from 31 July 2024. As a result, the FCA is livestreaming an event on 31 July 2024 to mark these milestones, where the focus will be on the impact the Duty has had in its first year, examples of good practice and areas for improvement, and FCA priorities for the year ahead.
