Context
The FCA and the FSCS have both announced that Lonsdale Insurance Brokers Limited (“Lonsdale”) has entered liquidation. Lonsdale is a small, independent Lloyd’s broker. Having considered the firm’s financial position, the directors concluded that the firm was insolvent, and entered creditors’ voluntary liquidation on 24 July 2024. Neil Bennett and Alex Cadwallader of Leonard Curtis were appointed as Joint Liquidators.
