All reporting firms have now moved to FCA’s new data collection platform RegData

Context

The FCA’s Gabriel system has now been replaced by the new RegData system.

Key points to note

  • The transition began in October 2020; 52,000 firms and 120,000 users have now been moved from Gabriel to RegData.
  • The FCA has published user guides and videos to help firms familiarise with the new platform.
  • Data items and relevant forms have not changed as a result of the move from Gabriel to RegData.

Next actions

Firms will now use the RegData platform for their reporting requirements. We recommend firms familiarise themselves with the new platform before any reporting deadlines.
