Context
The Board of the FOS has commissioned a periodic independent review of its services.
Key points to note
The review will focus on ensuring that the Financial Ombudsman Service can continue to meet the needs of its customers, both consumers and business and will be split into two parts:
- The first phase will look at the current operational effectiveness of the service – evaluating performance and efficiency against objectives.
- The second phase will build on phase one and consider the key changes in the external landscape – and how the service must adapt to meet current and future challenges.
The review is taking place over the summer and results will be published sometime during the autumn.
