Context

Following a failure to reach a landing between the FCA and its employees, last week Members of Unite embarked on strike action at the FCA.

Key points to note

  • The initial strikes took place over two days – Wednesday 4th and Thursday 5th May.
  • There will be further action on the 9th to 10th June and then 5th to 6th July.

Next actions

It is likely these strikes will have an impact on the regulator, including within the authorisations teams where there is already a backlog.
