Reminder to submit directory of certified and assessed persons information

Context

UKGI is reminding firms of the deadline dates in relation to the submission of Directory Persons data and when this data will begin to appear on the Financial Services Register.

Key points to note

  • The data, which firms will be responsible for maintaining, is being published on the Financial Services Register.  The data began to appear on the Register from 14th December 2020 as firms started to submit information via Connect.
  • Solo regulated firms MUST submit their Directory Persons data via Connect by 31st March 2021 at the latest if using the single-entry submission form.
  • Firms submitting data for 10 or more than 10 Directory Persons, can use the ‘multiple add’ template or ‘multiple amend’ template until 18th March.  After 18th March firms can only use the single submission form to submit data before 31st March 2021 deadline.
