Context
The FCA has updated its web page in relation to the Digital Regulation Cooperation Forum (DCRF) with details of the DCRF’s latest blog, its latest Workplan and its current Annual Report. Digital technologies are transforming the UK economy, and at the same time digital regulation is changing, with new legislation covering online safety, competition in digital markets, data protection and financial services.
Key points to note and next actions
- In April 2024, the DCRF published a blog on Fairness in AI: A View from the DCRF. The blog demonstrates how keen member regulators are to ensure that AI is fair, and that whatever AI is used in the UK, it does not result in anyone being exposed to discrimination or unfair treatment.
- The DRCF published its 2024/25 Workplan (PDF) and 2023/24 Annual Report (PDF) on 17th April 2024.
