Context
Financial Lives is the FCA’s flagship, nationally representative survey of UK consumers. It is a tracking survey, providing evidence of how things are changing from the point of view of the consumer, and includes information about:
- consumers’ attitudes towards managing their money;
- the financial products they have; and
- their experiences of engaging with financial services firms.
Key points to note and next actions
The FCA is conducting follow-up research to monitor how the rising cost of living may be continuing to impact people. The follow-up research involves re-contacting respondents who had taken part in the last Financial Lives survey between February and June 2022. Those that have been invited to take part in the research have until 28th January 2024 to complete the survey.
