Context
The FCA has reported that 50% of firms which have previously submitted their regulatory reporting on Gabriel are now using RegData.
Key points to note
- The FCA is inviting firms which are now using RegData to complete a short survey: https://www.onlinesurveys.fca.org.uk/jfe/form/SV_bvo2XZlutdE2ZVz
- Firms will continue to be moved across to RegData in stages.
- A firm will not be able to access RegData until the FCA has moved all the firm’s users across to RegData, until then the firm should continue to use Gabriel to submit its regulatory reports.
- Firms still using Gabriel should ensure they have registered for RegData https://www.fca.org.uk/firms/regdata/how-register
- All Gabriel users must register for RegData https://www.fca.org.uk/firms/regdata/how-register by logging in to Gabriel with their normal login details and completing a one-time activity when prompted.
- Firms’ Principal Users should make sure all other firm users complete this activity as soon as possible. This needs to be completed before a firm’s planned moving date, otherwise the Principal User will need to set others up as new users in RegData once the firm has been moved to the new system.
Next actions
Firms which have not yet been moved over to RegData should take the appropriate steps to ensure that they are prepared for a smooth transition.
