Context
The FCA are replacing the FCA Financial Resilience Survey with a new financial resilience regulatory return, which will be referred to as ‘FIN073 – Baseline Financial Resilience Report’, which will start to appear in firms’ RegData reporting schedules in the near future, the exact date to be confirmed in a Policy Statement in Summer 2023. Until this takes place, the information will continue to be gathered through the FCA’s online survey process.
Key points to note
The FCA are planning to send the latest Financial Resilience Survey request to the relevant firms in Tranche 1 on one of the following dates:
- Batch 1: to be sent on 5th June 2023- response due by 26th June 2023
- Batch 2: to be sent on 6th June 2023 – response due by 27th June 2023
- Batch 3: to be sent on 7th June 2023 – response due by 28th June 2023
- Batch 4: to be sent on 9th June 2023 – response due by 30th June 2023
And firms in Tranche 2 on the following dates:
- Batch 1: to be sent on 12th June 2023 – response due by 3rd July 2023
- Batch 2: to be sent on 13th June 2023 – response due by 4th July 2023
- Batch 3: to be sent on 14th June 2023 – response due by 5th July 2023
- Batch 4: to be sent on 16th June 2023 – response due by 7th July 2023
Firms in the Temporary Permissions Regime and Supervisory Run-off Regime can expect to receive this same survey, based on the same timeline above.
