- A ‘Four key tips on using personal data for marketing’ article talks about the Council of Europe’s ‘Data Protection Day’ (annually on 28th January) and provides four brief tips on the use of data protection in marketing to mark the day (what counts as personal data, what you have to do when you collect personal data, when do you need consent and when consumers ask not to receive marketing communications).
- The ‘Six top tips to avoid misleading advertising article explains that, year on year, roughly 70% of the complaints the ASA receives relate to misleading advertising, proving that this is an issue that consumers take seriously and that all marketers should be mindful of.
