Context
The FCA is in the process of moving 120,000 users and the data of 52,000 firms across from Gabriel to RegData. This transition is being conducted in groups, the firms within each of these groups are being determined by their reporting requirements.

- Firms will be given three weeks’ notice of the planned migration date and every Gabriel user will be sent a notification email
- All data will be transferred by the FCA
- The FCA has confirmed that the new system will be faster, and will make navigation and completion of submissions easier
- The new system also has improved functionality with messages that make it clear when data items are due and overdue
